CRWB 2022

 Hello CRWB!

It’s almost time to get your costumes going and camping gear dusted off. Rodeo weekend is just around the corner. We were not sure until just recently what ticket sales or shirt costs were going to be. We just confirmed our back row. Before we get into everything, let’s start with the basics.

Theme: The Corkill Ranch Wild Bunch does DISNEY!
Date: April 30th & May 1st, 2022
Shirts: Light Pink
Yes, this is the theme we voted on way back in 2019. It took awhile but with patience and determination it’s on for 2022! There is an issue with the original color of hot pink so we compromised with the light pink.
As always it takes many volunteers to keep this going year after year. The next generation has really been stepping up for awhile now. And this year we have a new one. Willie has volunteered to handle your shirt orders! Our first memory of Willie goes back to Ralph and then Arlene days. He was one of the group of kids they would annually bring up. Willie came strolling across the campground wearing his first, newly purchased cowboy hat. If memory serves correctly, he was around 10 years old. We have since seen him through the military, and now married to a wonderful girl with 2 great kids. Another generational handoff. Thanks Willie and Rosalyn! And thank you to all our families for making this come together once again. Ordering will remain the same on line. Updates to follow…stay tuned.
We do know the cost for Rodeo tickets. We hope to see a good turnout from the CRWB this year. Tickets available soon on our webpage.
Pre-ticketing Gate
Adult $10. $15
7-12. $5. $7
Under 7 free
We spoke to the county today regarding camping reservations. The system remains down. They assured us the campground is set to open. Their reservation system went down and will be available soon. Squaw Creek will no longer be taking reservations. All reservations will be made on line. For those of you needing a general reservation, you can make that reservation the same day you leave. Our core group has secured the boundary so you are not on any time line to complete. If looking for designated spots, we suggest you do this earlier. The pricing has not changed. $20 per night designated, $15 per night open. Two cars per site allowed but the second car will be required to pay $15 per night.
The exciting news….there is water back at our campsite!! The lake is over 50% full and the water is still flowing in. Yeah!
Please remember to bring back your horseshoes signed!
Can’t wait to welcome you all. Pinch the cheeks of our newest babies, celebrate a special 18th birthday, hugging old friends, dancing down the parade route, playing some shoes, eating the infamous Indian Taco at the rodeo, cheering on our kids games and yes we have a Mutton Buster! All this and so much more…so don’t miss out!
See you soon!!
YeeHaw!
